By itself, it is a mottled, glossy black undercoat. <\/p><p>The Texas Two-Step Oilspots are a specialized series that use pairs of glazes to create unique effects. Wherever one of the overcoats is placed on top of Licorice, Coffe Bean or Brick Red, a beautiful mottled pattern will appear during firing. Thicker applications will result in larger spots. Try using wax after the first coat to create negative space designs.   <\/p><p>These midrange brush glazes can be fired between 1180\/ 1220 degrees.
