They give artists a wide variety of possibilities in one product, as glaze application, firing temperature and shape affect the outcome of the finished work. Elements\u2122 are a two-color glaze with a main color and a secondary color called float. When Elements\u2122 are applied to detail pieces, the float color appears in the crevices. The EL-208 is Moss Creek is a matte, olive green glaze that refracts a dark bluish green. It has an orange-brown stain. It has large light and dark blue crystals. <\/p>\n
Cone 6:<\/strong> Base glaze changes to variegated olive red and breaks over texture; crystals fade. Improved dexterity. Surface problems may occur. <\/p>\n TIP:<\/strong> This glaze WILL move. Caution when using on vertical pieces: reduce the thickness of the glaze to the lower third to prevent run-off. This glaze will show pinholes after three coats. Not compatible with overglaze. <\/p>\n
