Turquoise gives translucent, blue-green sheen. Designed to give a hint of color with one coat, deeper color with two to three coats – but remains translucent. <\/p>\n
Cone 10:<\/strong> The color fades. <\/p>\n TIP:<\/strong> One coat lets more of the clay show through the glaze and adds a faint color to the surface. Subsequent coats deepen the turquoise color but after three coats you still get a translucent fired surface.
