Tiger’s Eye breaks from a glossy deep brownish red to frothy amber, depending on the layer thickness. One to two coats give browns and reds; three to five coats give more glaze movement and color variation. Although you will experience wonderful movement with Tiger’s Eye, the glaze will not run off your wares during an oxidation firing in cone 6. <\/p>\n
Cone 10:<\/strong> The color becomes darker. <\/p>\n TIP:<\/strong> Thinner glazes give darker browns and reds; heavier glazes give an opaque, light brown finish.
