Sometimes the contents of the glaze will settle. That’s normal! Ceramic glazes must be mixed thoroughly to ensure even application. We recommend mixing for at least 1\u20132 minutes. <\/p>\n
Glazes react differently (and look different) depending on various factors, including: <\/p>\n
(a) the temperature at which they are baked: even small changes in temperature can lead to different results<\/p>\n
(b) the clay material to which the glaze is applied: the same glaze looks different when applied to darker or lighter clay<\/p>\n
(c) the speed at which your oven reaches the desired temperature<\/p>\n
