Shake and stir the glaze well before use. If necessary, thin it with a little water to make it easier to apply with a brush.
Fire the glaze at temperatures between 1222°C and 1280°C (cone 6–9).
The gold-colored glaze can also be applied with a sponge, by dipping, or by pouring.
Please note: We thoroughly tested this glaze ourselves first, and although the jar says you can apply 3–4 coats, we found that one coat gives the best results. The glaze is quite thick in the jar, which means it’s easy to apply it too thickly. Of course, you can also thin the glaze slightly so you can apply multiple layers.
Firing temperature: 1222°C – 1280°C (cone 6–9).
Application: Apply the glaze directly to bisque-fired ceramics. Do not use a transparent glaze over this product.
Food Safety: According to the manufacturer, when fired at the correct temperature, the glaze meets U.S. FDA requirements for food contact. It is also microwave-safe, according to the manufacturer.
