The MBG034 Archie’s Base from the Archie’s series is a runny but beautiful glaze. Pale pink or sometimes creamy on their own, the Archie’s glazes really shine when combined with other glazes, changing their colors and creating interesting new patterns.
Please note the archie line from coyote does not match all clays! So always test on a tile before applying to your work.
The Archie’s Series can be challenging to use, but rewards your skill with some of the finest glazes available. They flow and intergrate with other colors dramatically, creating fantastic finishes unlike anything possible in an electric kiln. They are also greatly affected by slow cooling. Ideal firing temperature cone 5/ 6. Food safe
