The Shino by AMACO Is inspired by the humble forest scented tea ceremony bowls.
They give a traditional stoneware iron look on red or white clay.
Beautiful on textured or smooth clay surface, mixable to achieve the right degree of matte or glossy surface.
Shino glazes can also be combined with the AMACO PC line for different effects.
Heavy iron reduction appearance in an oxidizing (electric) firing.
Combine with gloss or matte variations.
