Elements™ and Elements™ Chunkies are designed to mimic the aesthetics, movement, and visual interest of mid-range and high-firing glazes in a cone 06/05 oxidation kiln. They offer artists a wide variety of possibilities in a single product, as the application of the glaze, firing temperature, and form all influence the final result of the finished piece. Elements™ is a two-color glaze consisting of a primary color and a secondary color called the “float.” When Elements™ is applied to detailed pieces, the float color appears in the crevices. Application and firing also influence the appearance of either the primary color or the float.
