Xiem Clay Paddles are designed to provide simple yet effective solutions for shaping, forming, and compressing clay like no other. They are handcrafted from solid beech wood to last a lifetime. The flat side is excellent for shaping, forming, and smoothing out irregularities on the surface, as well as for adding strength and stability and altering the shapes of wheel-thrown and hand-built clay pieces. It is also an indispensable tool for sculptors. The convex side is great for compressing clay and removing air bubbles. The handles are covered with soft foam rubber for maximum comfort and ease of use. Available in two sizes: large (11.25″ x 2.5″ x .75″) and medium (9.5″ x 1.9″ x .4″).
