Mayco’s crystal glazes are glossy glazes with pieces of glass frit. These pieces melt during the firing process.
As a result, they produce special and colorful effects. We also call it Art in a jar!
You can combine these glazes with other Mayco glazes such as the Stroke & Coat and Foundations to create a unique combination.

NOTE:
Before use, shake the jar well and stir. If necessary, decant briefly into another jar.

TIP:
Recommended firing temperature 1000 – 1040 degrees.
Also try firing the glaze at a higher temperature. This will displace the crystals and therefore give a nice runny effect.
Just make sure there are not too many crystals at the bottom of your piece!!!

Crystal glazes are not suitable for use ceramics due to their structure.
