MH-321 Moon Drop | Penguin Pottery

 29,00

Moon Drop is lead-free, non-toxic, and food-safe (provided it is properly baked and tested).

Sometimes the contents of the glaze will settle. That’s normal! Ceramic glazes must be mixed thoroughly to ensure even application. We recommend mixing for at least 1–2 minutes.

Glazes react differently (and look different) depending on various factors, including:

(a) the temperature at which they are baked: even small changes in temperature can lead to different results

(b) the clay material to which the glaze is applied: the same glaze looks different when applied to darker or lighter clay

(c) the speed at which your oven reaches the desired temperature

(d) how much oxygen is present in the oven during baking.

Description

Penguin Pottery glazes offer a vast range of effects to choose from: vibrant, bright, smooth, glossy, textured, satiny, matte; opaque, semi-translucent, translucent, transparent, fluid, non-fluid. The low-fire glazes are perfect for school projects, classrooms, studios, and potters who do not fire at high temperatures. These low-fire glazes are the choice of potters looking for a broad color palette, such as celadon, vibrant red, deep green, and bright blue. The mid-fire glazes offer similar possibilities but also introduce interesting effects and shades not available in low-fire glazes. The glazes are lead-free, non-toxic, and food-safe (provided they are fired and tested properly). Shake the bottle well before use and do not allow it to freeze.
