The P31 Half Dome 10 mm relief chisel is anything but a half-measure. This curved, beveled chisel, 10 mm wide, is designed for powerful shaping and larger sculptural elements. It’s perfect for quickly removing material, yet precise enough to add deeper, three-dimensional details to the surface of your ceramics. The P31 stands on its own, but also complements our collection of smaller relief chisels beautifully.
This tool features a curved, dome-shaped 10 mm stainless steel blade. It has a 140 mm (5.5 inch) pencil-shaped hardwood handle and is suitable for removing material from hard-to-reach areas. It offers good control over the cutting depth for precise line work and works best on leather-hard to bone-dry clay. The blade angle is adjustable, and replacement blades are sold separately. The wood grain may vary.
