Purple Mint is a glossy glaze that yields greens and purples and reacts strongly to surface textures. On flat, smooth surfaces, lighter coats will cause the green to break through a light layer of purple. As more coats are applied, purple will dominate the fired finish. On textured surfaces, green will almost always appear on and around incised and raised areas.
Cone 10: The color changes to a garish blue.
TIP: The thinner the glaze is applied, the greener it will become. The thicker the layer, the more purple the glaze.
