EL-151 Deep Water

Elements are designed to achieve a stoneware appearance at earthenware temperatures without the need to be fired at high temperatures. The degree of variation exhibited by these glazes can be influenced by factors such as the number of coats applied, combinations with other glazes, surface textures kiln atmosphere and temperatures. Cone 06: Deep Water is a glossy, medium blue that breaks a darker blue. Cone 6: Color darkens. Enhanced mobility. Surface issues may occur. TIP: This glaze WILL move. Take care when using on vertical pieces reduce glaze thickness toward the bottom third to minimize run-off. This glaze will pinhole with three coats at cone 06.
