Blue Topaz is a semi-transparent glossy glaze that offers a combination of flowing light blue tones accompanied by shades of golden yellow where it breaks. Blue Topaz can be applied thickly and is also great for textured surfaces.

The new Speedball Mid-Fire Glazes are an artist-led project developed in collaboration with ceramicist Nancy Sowder. This shows how artists are shaping the development of Speedball! This line consists of 30 glazes that create magical mottling and reduction-like effects, fired on Cone 5/6. Get striking results as you use each glaze individually, or try combining colors in layers for even more unique variety.
