Get into a smooth groove immediately with the X Series Fluting Tools, our newest line of clay carvers! We have designed six new fluting tools with blades that create a variety of convex gradients in the cut lines. These thin, stainless steel blades bend under pressure, allowing you to determine the exact depth and width of a line that can contain the opening of each tool.
This unique design makes each line as unique as the artist cutting it. Use the new X2 12 mm U routing tool to create buttery smooth, 12 mm wide lines with convex sidewalls and U-shaped valleys and endpoints. Whether you are drawing a straight or curved line through your ceramic workpiece, this milling tool responds to the pressure of your hand and removes material with precision. As with our other clay cutters, the pencil-like handle and soft grip make it easy to use for extended periods of time without getting tired. As a bonus, the X Series Fluting Tools comes with a replacement blade should the delicate tip ever become damaged.
