Liquid gold and metallic lusters have a colloidal form and a dark brown color; they contain dissolved metals as the main component. Preparation – application – firing The products should be diluted with thinner HTL199 in the range of 5% to 15%. HTL-001 Bright Gold 8% Luster 5 grams They are applied mainly by brush to pottery and porcelain. Airbrush application for professional use only. This application should always be on glazed objects; thoroughly clean and must be kept moisture-free. Firing temperatures Earthenware: 690 – 700 degrees Celsius (orton cone 018) Porcelain: 750-815 degrees Celsius (orton cone 017- 015) Before firing, allow the objects to dry for several hours in a dust-free warm room.
