But not recommended on use ceramics.

TIPS

  • Avoid applying Pottery Cascade™ to the bottom third of a piece, as the glaze will shift.
  • PC-601 Clear Cascade is the smoothest of the Cascade products and must be applied carefully.
  • PC-602 White Cascade moves less than Clear Cascade.
  • Pottery Cascade™ are compatible with gloss.
  • We do not recommend dipping your brush directly into the pot to avoid contamination, especially if you are using one brush to spread Pottery Cascades over other glazes.

Pottery Cascade™ glazes are designed to be fired at 1000°C. Make sure the glaze is thoroughly dried before firing. CAUTION: Do not put it on the bottom half of your work. This is because of the running of the glaze!!!

In combinations with Elements

Use Pottery Cascade™ as a flux with Elements™ to create movement in the colors. Great visual effects are created when applied under, over or between Elements™ or Elements™ Chunkies.

Mimic the effects of glazes with a higher firing temperature

Cascades are perfect for the low-fire designer who wants to create the looks achieved at higher temperatures. The variability of Pottery Cascade™ ensures that no two designs will be exactly alike.

In combination with Stroke and Coats and Foundations

Foundations® and Stroke & Coat® are non-moving glazes. Using a Cascade with either glaze will not produce movement or blending as seen with moving glazes such as Elements® or Jungle Gems™ Crystal Glazes.
