Cone 6: Olivine has rust and various shades of green flowing from this mobile gloss glaze. Lighter coats give muted greens and browns, 3 coats can produce a beautiful metallic green, almost mirror-like, sheen.
Cone 10: The color becomes flatter and warm undertones come through.
TIP: The thinner you apply it, the greener the glaze will be. The thicker the layer, the browner the glaze. If the glaze is fired cooler, it will be a deeper brown and show less variation. If too brown, put it back in the kiln and fire again.
