Storm Gray is designed to produce a matte gray to white variation depending on the application. One coat produces a matte mid-gray finish with little white variation. Subsequent coats give a white variation, muting the mid-gray.
Cone 10: Off-white variation becomes darker. Gray variation becomes blue.
TIP: Diluted layers give a matte gray satin finish. Thick layers enhance the white variation. Brush strokes are visible in the final result. We recommend applying layers in different directions (apply crosswise). Although the glaze appears opaque, the decoration of the surface is clearly visible through the glaze.
