Ivy is a glossy, opaque, variegated green glaze with that breaks over texture and has an iridescent luster. Green microcrystallization may develop.
Cone 10: Glaze shifts to a variegated jade that breaks purple across the texture. Microcrystallization increases.
TIP: This glaze is very runny at 3 coats. Anticipate glaze movement with withdrawn application on vertical surfaces to avoid unwanted run-out. Tendency to pinholes when fired on manganese clay bodies.
