The CC-101 Transparent is a pottery crackle glaze.
Classic Crackles© by maycocolors are glazes designed to “crackle”, i.e. develop subtle surface cracks in the finished glaze.
Not food safe
The crackles can be washed in after the glaze firing with e.g. black acrylic paint or Indian ink to create a raku effect without a special firing!
It is a non-toxic glaze but not recommended on tableware because of the surface texture.
