Ideal for fine work, this hardwood pottery tool features a 5mm diameter “U” tip with a straight stainless steel cutting edge 1mm wide. The 14 cm ergonomic handle fits comfortably in the hand and is embellished with two colorful foam handles, adding extra style and comfort. It is perfect for creating clean, detailed grooves of 5mm and can be used on both gooey dry and leather-hard clay. The tool comes with one free spare blade, with additional blades and blade sets available separately. The angle of the blade is adjustable, and the wood grain can vary.
This tool is ideal for deep or shallow cutting of clay and underglaze, providing a clean finish. It is perfect for Sgraffito, where you can scrape background areas, and for techniques such as Mishima, sculpting, scraping and more. The stainless steel blade always stays sharp and leaves little to no burrs or debris. This allows you to cut faster and deeper, while the sharp blade increases efficiency and reduces fatigue.
