Azurite is a soft matte, cobalt blue glaze that pools dark and shiny and breaks light brown.
Cone 10: The color changes to green where it is thin/broken and remains dark blue where it is thick/brown. More movement.
Tip: This glaze can be very moveable; repeat layers to prevent run-off on vertical pieces and be careful when combined.
Note: Not recommended for dinnerware due to surface durability.
