Rusted Iron is a semi-matte, opaque glaze that shows shades of orange and brown. The variation of the glaze depends on the application. Thicker application results in metallic matte characteristics. Thinner application results in a smoother surface and darker color.
Cone 10: More orange/copper spots. More movement.
TIP: This glaze WILL move. Be careful when using on a vertical piece – reduce the thickness of the glaze toward the lower third to minimize run-off. Too much application can cause pinholing or runout.
