The MBG026 Gun Metal Green from the Archie line is one of our most popular and versatile glazes. A very runny, richly variegated green that can be unpredictable, sometimes creating both matte and glossy spots on a single pot. Combines beautifully with almost all Coyote Glazes, and explodes with crystals in slow cooling.
Please note the archie line from coyote does not match all clays! So always test on a tile before applying to your work.
The Archie’s Series can be challenging to use, but rewards your skill with some of the finest glazes available. They flow and intergrate with other colors dramatically, creating fantastic finishes unlike anything possible in an electric kiln. They are also greatly affected by slow cooling. Ideal firing temperature cone 5/ 6. Food safe
