(SH) Shino The Shino line from AMACO Is inspired by the humble forest scented tea ceremony bowls. Our Shino glazes give a traditional stoneware iron look on any clay. Beautiful on textured or smooth clay surface, mixable to achieve the right degree of matte or glossy surface. Shino glazes can also be combined with the AMACO PC line for different effects. -Heavy iron reduction appearance in an oxidizing (electric) firing -Suitable for red or white clay -Combine with gloss or matte variations -Food safe -Ideal firing temperature 1180 degrees Celsius
