Lilac Mat is a semi-opaque matte lilac glaze. The glaze breaks over surface structures: the more pronounced the surface structure, the more the glaze will spread around these structures. Where the glaze gathers, darker areas are created.
Cone 10: turns into a translucent sheen.
TIP: Lighter coatings show the features of the body through the glaze (especially on dark and speckled clay bodies). Thicker application, three or more coats, gives a more opaque finish.
