Xiem Clay Paddles are designed to solve simple solutions to shape, form, and compress clay like no other. They are handcrafted from solid beech wood for a lifetime of use. The flat side is excellent for shaping, forming, and flatting irregularities on the surface and to add strength, stability, and alter wheel forms and hand-built clay works. It is also an indispensable tool for the sculpture artist. The convex side is great for compressing clay and knocking out the air bubbles. The handles are covered with soft foam rubber grip for uttermost comfort and pleasure to use. Available in two sizes: large 11.25″x 2.5″x .75″ and medium 9.5″ x 1.9″ x .4″.
